Введение. В результате археологических раскопок в Крымском районе Краснодарского края многослойного поселения Чекупс-2, датированного широким временным диапазоном от эпохи античности до средневековья, была найдена хозяйственная яма, содержащая 34 черепа со следами предсмертных травм и признаками скальпирования. Датировка находки археологическими методами оказалась затруднительна, так же, как и вероятная культурная принадлежность погибших людей.
Материалы и методы. Для исследования использовали черепа 16 индивидов с наилучшей сохранностью. На основе геномной ДНК, выделенной из каменистой части височных костей, были приготовлены фрагментные библиотеки и проведено геномное секвенирование с последующим биоинформатическим анализом.
Результаты. В соответствии с прямой радиоуглеродной датировкой был определен возраст погребения, соответствующий периоду античности (I –IV вв. н.э.). На основе результатов геномного секвенирования было показано, что все исследованные черепа принадлежали индивидам мужского пола. В результате анализа аутосомных генетических маркеров, а также гаплогрупп митохондриальной ДНК и Y-хромосомы было показано отсутствие близких родственных связей
(1–3 степени родства) между исследуемыми индивидами, а также родства по мужской и женской линиям. Для десяти образцов были определены гаплогруппы Y-хромосомы, из них Y-хромосомы семи индивидов принадлежат гаплогруппе J2a1, еще у трех индивидов определена гаплогруппа G2a2, показана автохтонность происхождения индивидов по Y-хромосоме для всех определенных глубоких субкладов. Выявлена гетерогенность материнских линий, митохондриальные последовательности всех индивидов принадлежат различным гаплогруппам (U1b2d, U1b2d1, U1a1a1b, U5a1b1, T2d2a1a, T2l, W1i2, N1b1b, I1, X4a3a, X4a3, H, H4, H80, H55, HV4b1).
Заключение. Впервые получены данные, уточняющие исторический период совершения данного захоронения. Генетические данные по однородительским маркерам демонстрируют как автохтонное происхождение отдельных индивидов, так и преемственность исследованных индивидов с населением скифского времени, что открывает новые перспективы для дальнейшей проверки гипотез о происхождении этих людей и исторических причинах их гибели.
